How long have you been involved in Student Ministries?
Just a short while at Pantano
Led preteen ministry with my husband Enrique at former church although it was much smaller
When and how did you become a Christian?
When I was a college student at ASU, got involved with student ministries, and started studying the Bible. Learned that in order to fully follow Jesus, I needed to repent and be baptized (Acts 2:38). Was baptized in October of ‘89.
What is a little known fact about you?
I love to garden and would fill up my entire yard with plants and trees if my dear husband would let me.
What is your worst high school or middle school memory?
I was on a field trip in middle school to Washington DC which was a huge deal and I split the seam of my pants - luckily I had a jacket to wrap around my waste - VERY EMBARASSING.
What is your favorite high school or middle school memory?
I went to a very small school in Iowa and was really lucky to have many close friends in school. Greatest memories were of hanging out together on Friday nights.

Three fish and one dog named Keely
What is your favorite book of the Bible?
I think John is one of my favorites as it really gives me insight into Jesus’s character.

Love strawberry

No broken bones
What is your favorite movie?
any cheesy chick-flick
What is your most memorable Student Ministries experience?
Being a counselor at preteen camp was a blast
What is your favorite vacation spot?
Although I HATE the sand, I love to go to San Diego and take the kids to the beach - I love to relax in the shade and listen to the ocean And of course watch the kids and Enrique build sand castles
What kind of car do you drive?
I drive a 2006 Mercury Mariner - small SUV
What is your favorite kind of candy?
Snicker bars
What is your favorite music genre?
pop and alternative
What is your favorite kind of bug?
ladybugs - they are a sign of good luck in the Asian culture and of course, one of the first signs of Springtime
